Session 14 - Temple trouble
You decided to head to the temple of Valar to see if you could get in touch with Heny Rynge. While the main party was talking to Misha Devi, who was very interested in what the party had been up to, Dusty went round the back of the temple. Aelfwulf the gardener warned Dusty to not get too close to the wolf kennel.
Dusty climbed up the back of the temple and saw a room full of motionless seated people. He threw his trout in and it hit one in face. It revealed the head of a skeleton. Regardless Dusty climbed in through the window. The skeletons animated and attacked. Dusty screamed.
Hearing Dusty scream, the rest of the party scattered. Misha tried to cast a spell at Steve D but he was far too mentally strong for her. A fight erupted between Misha, the monks and the rest of the party.
Dusty ran for his life out of the skeleton room through into a torture chamber. Four people were strapped to the beds in the room. Dusty ran through the torture chamber and into a ruined room. Soft bells chimed as he entered. He turned round and opened another door into a room full of goblins. He surprised one and killed it with his dagger. The rest ran for it.
In the temple courtyard, a confused fight broke out. Steve D took a bad hit from one of the monks. Thorto killed one with a single arrow. Misha ran for it but more monks joined the fight. Eventually all the monks were either dead, surrendered or running.
Dusty went through a secret door in the goblin room only to find himself back in the torture chamber. He decided to climb out of the window. Aelfwulf the gardener released the wolves. Dusty climbed onto the roof of the temple. Thorto, Gavin and Steve D prepped for the arrival of the wolf charging down the side of the building. Yak, who’d gone exploring, found himself sandwiched between a running goblin and Misha Devi.
