Session 10 - Bandits

A group of villagers came to greet you after Andrei slew the raven wolf. Haskali Ull gave you gold for rescuing his children. Fat, sick old Oleg begged for help as he thought he might be sacrificed. Dusty gave Oleg money to head to the Serpent Longhouse and get drunk. Kearny said to you that Lady Jaranta hadn’t paid you 20 gold with more on the table just to talk to Misha Devi. She expected results on finding out what happened to her father. 

You decided to head south to Dragonback Farm to see if you could secure some livestock. As you passed the guard house the drunken warrior Grover introduced himself as the chief’s right hand man and thanked you for bringing back Cece. He warned you not to take notice of any rumours and said you should leave the village and not come back. He said it would be unfortunate if anything happened to you. 

Heading to Dragonback Farm you found the gate broken open. Dusty sneaked up and saw an armed man chasing a chicken, and a guard dog with an arrow in its side. Many sheep and pig tracks were leading away from the farm. Dusty shifted into a haystack and more suspicious activity was going on inside the farm. The rest of the party tried to sneak in but Steve D tripped on a chicken and alerted the bandits. 

Lance surged forwards and killed 2 bandits coming out of the farmhouse. Dusty took out another from his hidden position. A general melee ensued with bandits going down like flies. 3 bandits were knocked unconscious and another captured. The bandit in the watch tower escaped. Dusty and Lance found Eileen from the village tied up inside a wardrobe. Dusty also found some letters from Heny Rynge. Steve D found the family that owned the farm dead in the well.
