Session 142 - Ishtar shrine
The southern party continued heading north to Izabra.
The northern party came across Timanthes the slave frozen in the snow. A still living elf, Paeral, was attached to him by blood vines. When you approached the elf a pack of huge elven dogs appeared and started barking. Paeral signaled for them to stop.
When Dan thrust his halberd into the snow around Paerul and Timanthes, something grabbed onto it. A fight broke out with blood vines erupting from the snow. You quickly dispatched them, finding one of the dead elven dogs buried in the snow.
Maggot tried to carefully detach the blood vines from Paeral but caused him a lot of damage. One of the dogs attacked Maggot but Paeral called him off. Fortunately Isen was on hand to heal. Paeral said that Timanthes was still alive when he found him. The rest of the slaves had abandoned Timanthes to head up the escarpment towards a shrine.
Paeral said he’d been attracted to the Ruins of Kupchak but had found a pig faced demon on the surface. Paeral had fled the demon. Paeral was also interested in Amersh. He said Amersh should be careful the next time he crossed a fairy gate.
You headed up the escarpment to find a shrine to Ishtar. Entering down some stairs, a statue of Ishtar indicated you should head through a door rather than continue further down the stairs. Maggot received a vision of getting bitten by a treasure chest.
You entered a room going off a side passage. It contained destroyed furniture and a new looking weapons rack. Alice determined that the weapons rack was a magical creature. Maevis talked to the rack and it said bring food. Amersh and Dan decided that it was too dangerous to leave alive and attacked. A short and brutal battle erupted before the mimic died.
Advancing forwards you found a corridor with 2 mirrors on it that you took down. Finally you ended up in a room with a battered bed and found some vestments ripped apart by claws and a single white glove.
