Session 141 - A close shave

The southern party headed north along the road to Izabra. As you were passing Dangerford a bunch of fauns came out of the forest and asked you to stay for lunch. You weren’t keen.

Trit, the leader of the fauns, asked if you could steal some Giants Firewater from House Oberon in Prigwort. They’d paid a lot for it but the young faun they sent ended up getting drunk and headbutting the Elevated Sirrop Drouge. Trit offered you a genie lamp and unseen fire in payment. They also said that Lake Longmere was a powerful source of magic in the Black Goat Wood. Witches learn other people’s secrets from the lake.

When you started moving off, the fauns tried charming you with their pipes. Malice sent most of them to sleep. Chad hit the remaining faun who asked him to stop. The faun said it was just a joke and all they wanted was to shave people’s heads. He ran off into the forest. Chad and Gina tried to drag the sleeping fauns into the forest but one woke up. He asked for his pan pipes back but he ended up running into the forest too.

You recovered the genie lamp and a steel tube from Trit. When you rubbed the lamp, Ariel the young genie appeared. She offered you one wish. After much debating the party decided on freeing Cyril and Barrett’s souls. Granting the wish, a plate with 4 buns appeared. They didn’t register as magical when Malice cast detect magic.
