Session 12 - Bandit bust up

On returning to the farm you found Jimmy lying in the snow unconscious and suffering from exposure. One of the bandits had escaped. While discussing what to do you heard a voice saying we’ve nearly caught them.

You set up an ambush in the farm house but Christoph distracted you and the bandits made it through the gate before anyone noticed them. Ulthak the Butcher, a huge half orc, started shattering the farmhouse door with his great axe. As soon as he broke the door Thorto hit him in the head with an incredibly lucky shot and killed him stone dead. The bandits surged through the door but were repulsed by Argathrax and Christoph. Dusty surprised a bandit and killed him at which the rest of the bandits decided to flee. Yak cast fog cloud at the fleeing bandits, killing more. The last bandits agreed to surrender.

A bandit, Aered, said he knew where treasure was if you let him free. On the way to the bandit hideout, he made a run for it towards the forest. After being shot he surrendered, saying he was just trying to get away. 

Getting to the bandits’ camp, Dusty sneaked up and found just Cenga and one other bandit on guard. Thorto threw down Ulthak’s axe, and demanded to leave with the animals. Cenga was shocked and the other bandit tried to make a run for it. Dusty shot him before he could make it to the passageway. Another bandit popped his head out of the passage and ducked back in. Cenga tried to run too but was brought down inside the passage. 

Argathrax went inside the passage to ensure Cenga was dead and found the start of a temple complex devoted to the dwarven god Gevorgun.
