Session 131 - Bulette farm

A door was unbolted into the gnolls guard room. Maggot kicked the door open and Van Petrol rushed in, killing a lizardman. Alice sued for peace, offering the shaman Ixitdal 4 jade statuettes as compensation for the warrior’s death. Ixitdal had been communing with G’ruk in a dream state and gave Dan the slave Timanthes as a gift. Timanthes said he’d been captured by demons who wanted to break a sacrificial stone and gain the soul inside it. They were trying to figure out a way of breaking the stone without angering Orcus.

Moving deeper into the the dungeon a confusion of slaves were freeing themselves from cells. The slaves were scared of the party following Dan’s slaying of a slave but Maevis convinced them things were OK. Maggot lead the slaves to safety.

The rest of the party headed off and rescued Isan, the priestess of Valar, from her cell by an arena. She told the story of Valar’s Heart and how she got to be here. Isan was keen to know all about Maevis and how she could be like her. Maevis hypnotised the bulette held in another cell.

The party headed back upwards and found Garikt the gnoll trying to bribe the gargoyle into freeing them. Amersh and Maevis convinced the gnolls to join the party and search for treasure. Garikt tried to persuade the party to investigate some statues but Dan reminded him of the cost of any harm to the party. You went through an armoury and recruited another gnoll. A second group of gnolls would not submit to Garikt’s authority and a fight broke out, with Garikt’s band running. The party opened negotiations with the second group of gnolls.
