Session 121 - Well gone

Charging towards the Palace of the Minotaur King, Maggot and Alice killed the fleeing enemies. Amersh and Dan got distracted by a well that Eidothera said was a teleport gate. Maevis and Maggot tried to persuade the dryad of the great tree to come under the protection of Valar but she refused.

After tying himself to a rope Dan jumped into the teleporter well. In the pitch black he lit a torch. He was deep in bat guano in a room with a broken statue. Trying one door he found his way barred by lizardmen. He forced open another door only to be assaulted by a hungry mass of centipedes. He retreated back to the lizardmen who had been hunting the centipedes. Searching the room he found a secret door leading out into a passage. He turned left, following the lizardmen.

Back at the well a debate was had about whether to follow Dan down the well. Eidothera expressed her displeasure about abandoning the attack on the Palace of the Minotaur King. Maevis asked Valar if they would die going through the well and got a no response. Alice summoned 3 gargoyles. Everybody went down the well to be surrounded by a hot mess of centipedes. After much hacking and slashing the nasty biting centipedes were driven back.
