Session 101 - Fly swat

After Chad relayed Goxl’s thoughts, the party tried to pump the lizardman for further information. He gave you the jade fly, saying it would protect against the fly demon. Malice summoned a cave bear and with its help dragged the trolls back to Yaxalayum and the tribe. Yaxalayum said that this was further proof that he was right to trust the party as the trolls had been eating the lizardmen for some time. Thruz stepped forward to guide the party to the City of Bats.

Heading down a long corridor Thruz asked for the lantern to be extinguished to avoid the teaming horde of bats roosting on the ceiling. Instead Mina cast darkness and shielded the party.

Coming on a bone filled cavern and the gates to the City of Bats, the party engaged in a fight with giant flies. Joe and Graben were sorely hurt by the flies cruel probocises but Malice’s bear crushed 2 of the flies. With the flies either dead or retreated to the ceiling, the fly demon came out of the side passage. The fly demon tried to disable the bear with its awful buzzing sound but the bear hardly noticed the assault. Graben commanded the fly demon to quiet. The fly demon retreated into the side passage but Joe attacked and pulled it out straight into the path of bear which bit, rended and crushed it into oblivion. 

The party attacked the remaining giant flies on the ceiling and started searching the caverns.
