Session 94 - Ritual interruption

Alice and the spiders polished off the skeleton warriors. Maggot and Van Petrol ran towards the Stone Circle of Cawic. 

At the stone circle Dan and Amersh stealthily crept up to the cultists guarding the entrance. The cultists bought the story that they were just more cultists. But not before they’d summoned reinforcements. Amersh surprised a cultist with a killing stab and a fight broke out. Maggot and Van Petrol arrived and helped with the melee.

Dan stepped into the stone circle to be surprised by how many cultists and fey were dancing around. Nonetheless he set about hacking. Alice arrived and flared the fire causing blindness. Maggot strode into the circle too. Alice’s fog cloud demoralised the enemy. Caliadne tried to launch a spell but failed. Maggot and Dan got into a competition to see how many cultists they could take down. 

Caliadne ordered the bulk of the cultists to retreat and guard the spawn of Orcus with their life. The party mopped up any cultists still in the circle but didn’t manage to locate Caliadne in the darkness. Alice determined that the cracked altar was humming with potential transformation magic. A faun tried to scare the party off with his pan pipes but was dispatched. Van Petrol headed back to Salix’s mansion.
