NB - Session 1

Session 1 - Murder most foul

Our starving and hungry adventurers desperately sought shelter in Helix. The fabled hot spring fed river turned out to be a frozen trickle.

A starving girl tried to steal a loaf of bread from a clumsy baker. The baker knocker her out with a savage blow. After the baker had moved on, Linos put the poor girl out of her misery with a crowbar. Unfortunately he was spotted by another villager but he escaped into the hostel.

An angry mob appeared at the hostel door but mistook Wyhe for Linos. Wyhe drew his sword. An emboldened Linos advanced with a pitchfork but Wyhe's thrust was accurate and ended Linos' life.

Meanwhile the rest of the party took shelter in the Helix Tavern. They found the food and drink expensive for their meagre resources. Bollo the inn keeper was quite unsympathetic to the starving Sigibert. Maurice leapt on a table and launched into a song, which moved the audience so much he was showered with money. Hilda, a particularly wealthy farmer, asked the party if they could find out what had happened to the hot spring supplying the river. She suspected moss goblins were up to no good and would soon be demanding a ransom for the return of the water supply.
