Session 115 - Soul grab

Chad grabbed the golden bat mask out of the sarcophagus and felt his soul sucking out of his body. Malice’s counter spell was completely overwhelmed but by great good luck Chad managed to fend off the magical assault. Joe lept off the sarcophagus and swiped the mask out of Chad’s hand with a blistering double blow from the goblin sword. The mask was smashed into the floor of the tomb.

The party retreated from the City of Bats, gifting a jade necklace to Yaxalayum when passing through the lizardman cave. Thruz remained with the lizardmen. At the entrance the pterodactyls were getting chased by giant bats. The bats were quickly dispatched and the pterodactyls brought back under control. Returning outside they found that Brodrir had been attacked by the hungry pterodactyls while guarding the cave entrance. Malice tried to smooth things over by feeding the pterodactyls but Brodrir wouldn’t go near them.

Back with the party in the north Alice cast detect magic on all the party’s items but couldn’t get detailed information.
