Session 91 - Captured kid

Surrounded by wolves, Amersh drew his sword to protect the little girl. Headbiter told Dan to get his friend to put his sword away. This did not happen and the pack attacked. A crack of thunder and lightning from the Stone Circle of Cawic momentarily distracted the wolves. The stones looked to be shifting and you could see people dancing within them.

The pack continued their attack. Amersh tried to protect the girl but she died in a single chomp of a worg’s jaws. Dan impaled Headbiter on his halberd and eventually killed him but was brutally mauled by the other worg. With a broken arm, he retreated to find some protection against a wall with Ismark. Amersh, after getting surrounded, teleported to a defensible position on a ruined wall.

Meanwhile at Salix’s mansion Maggot legged it and Salix let his cat transform into some sort of half hairless lion demon. Salix too got distracted by the thunder and looked at the ritual happening in the stone circle. He muttered that somebody had betrayed him. Van Petrol surrendered. Salix seemed very interested in somebody turning into a god. Van Petrol is being dragged into the basement for further questioning.

Alice, with the help of the fauns and Athaff’s crew, put out the fire. Maevis continued supervising. Alice lined the spiders up and gave them a bewildering speech about not eating people. The 2 hungriest spiders were left behind under the supervision of 4 others. The main pack of spiders followed Alice and Maevis to see where Billy, Maggot and Van Petrol had got to. They met up with Maggot on the street corner and he filled them in on Van Petrol’s adventure in the manor house.
