Session 137 - Gnoll interrupted

You decided to explore southwards, coming across some deserted gnoll sleeping quarters. Billy found a solitary gnoll trying to sneak past the gargoyle in the corridor. Amersh tried out his new crossbow but didn’t find it much to his liking. In the last room Alice found 3 gnolls. She came to an agreement with the one that was awake and closed the door.

Maggot handed the chest containing the sprite lights to Eidothera and the dryads. While they were explaining how greatful they were, the closed door crashed down on Alice’s gargoyle. The party quickly dispatched the treacherous gnolls with the final one surrendering. Billy went west and found the room with the blazing light, connecting to the rest of Stronghoen’s Palace. Amersh got the last gnoll to tell you where the teleport in the broken temple went to. 

Alice had an awful time casting detect magic on Amersh’s ring. She stuck it to the floor, along with the teleporter marbles. Luckily Amersh was able to retrieve his ring. By great force of mostly Maevis’ will, you picked up enough marbles to send you straight to the temple of Ernalda. Amersh gave an offering to Ernalda and gained the rune spell charisma.
