Session 124 - Emancipation

Maggot gifted Burhuia and the other slaves food, gold and directions to Izabra. Helmund decided to stay with the party. After seeing the other slaves off, you all sat down for a nice meal prepared by Maggot and Helmund. 

In the depths Dan was travelling with the lizardmen when an earthquake struck. All the lizardmen and the 2 galeb duhr retreated to the other end of the cavern where the rocks weren’t falling. G’ruk blamed Quartz and Spinacite for the earthquake. Dan stepped in and made a peace of sorts between the two. The galeb duhr sat on the broken floor to think about the source of the earthquake while the lizardmen travelled on. Before the temple of Ernalda one of the lizardmen fell in a spiked pit. Dan rescued him and G’ruk healed the wound. 

After feeling the earthquake, the main party headed back into the Ruins of Kupchak, following Helmund’s directions. Van Petrol successfully navigated the gnoll’s trap only for Helmund to trip on the earthquake rubble. This alerted the gnoll guards and a savage battle ensued with both Maevis and Mo taking heavy blows. After searching the bodies and the guardpost Helmund was surprised by a minotaur rounding the corner…
