Session 66 - A thief in the night

Queen Vania again pleaded with the group to continue their search for Yalvan. You had traced him as far as Fort Vulgar in the Black Goat Wood. Erik approached Joe and tried to convince him that he should give up the Goblin Leach Sword for the good of the city, offering him money. Mina and Joe refused to part with the sword.

In the night the starving Thankmar Underhill tried to steal the sword and deliver it to Erik and his accomplice. He was cut down by Joe’s halberd. You squidged his body into the corner of the room.

Hogwash dressed up as Thankmar and saw Erik waiting in the courtyard. He ran for it up onto the battlements then in a mighty leap down to the roof of the guard house, gave them the slip. A search for Thankmar ensued with Gina questioning Erik closely about the theft of the sword. 

Back in the palace, Mina cut her thigh to make it look like Thankmar’s blood was hers. Queen Vania walked in and started questioning her about the sword. She put her hand on Joe’s shoulder, trying to wake him from sleep...
