Session 48 - Dealing with undeath

You ventured back into the rough tunnels. Creeping along you encountered a room with a mundus pit. Alice summoned some wolves. She tried summoning again and this time some fey from the Stone Court in the Underdark were summoned. Elluin promised to help in exchange for the stone to flesh mushrooms.

Sending the wolves forward, you entered King Deyr's tomb. Hazel entreated with him, offering service. King Deyr demanded tribute. The party gave it. King Deyr said he would look favourably on Hazel's request for service if she retrieved the Lens of Time from Deathfrost Mountain. The Lens is held in the Mausoleum of the Slaughterer.

On arriving back in Queen Calla's tomb, she became increasingly agitated that you hadn't dealt with King Deyr. When she learned that you were in his service she attacked. The wolves she touched aged to death in seconds. The party threw spells but ended up retreating.
